1. Had an awesome 3.5 mile run last night. For the first time ever, I tackled this one very challenging hill without stopping! I kept my stride short and light and couldn't believe that I didn't fatigue. The hill not quite a half mile (.45), but tough as hell and I won last night. Woot!
2. Tonight is library night and I'm excited. That either makes me a geek or very dull or possibly frugal. And since when did I start getting excited about going to the library?! (since 5 actually)
3. I finished Civil Disobedience - amazing how something so long ago could feel so current. I'm now reading Alice Waters and Chez Panisse by Thomas McNamee. I can't stop reading it. Such an incredible story about Waters' restaurant in Berkeley and how she's credited with starting the local food movement.
4. I found the best dark coffee beans at the Westside Market. It's the Gothic blend and it's described as dark and stormy. As if I didn't already have a love affair with coffee before, but this takes it to a whole new level. Mmmm!
Happy hump day!
